Position Summary

Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated body parts. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, film developing for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician physicians as required. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and possess a current ARRT registry
  • Requires at least three months of work experience, but 1 year of experience is preferred
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification is required upon hire
