Cancer Registrar - St. Anthony's Hospital(Job Number: 209048) Description   BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at St. Anthony’s Hospital. St. Anthony's has a long tradition of providing a wide range of exceptional health care services to our community — more than 85 years of advancing superior health care.   The Cancer Registrar: ·Analyzes, abstracts, and codes demographic, patient and cancer related information, treatment and staging from the medical records on all cancer cases seen and or diagnoses at designated facility. ·Identifies eligibility of cancer patients in the registry and obtains interesting cases from medical staff and pathologists. ·Prepares agenda for conference and assures that pathology and radiology material for conferences is available. ·Performs other duties as assigned.  Requirements: ·High School with 2 years of Cancer Services and 2 years of Registration experience ·1 year of Oncology related experience is acceptable with an Associate's degree BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including benefits, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401k match and additional yearly contribution, yearly performance appraisals and team award bonus, community discounts and the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work Qualifications   Certifications and Licensures Required CTR (Cancer Registrar) Education Required High School or Equivalent Preferred Associate's Experience Required 2 years Cancer Services Required 2 years Registration Or 1 year Relevant experience with Associate's Specific Skills Required Time management skills Required Computer skills appropriate to position Required Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents Required Collect, analyze and organize data in appropriate report formats Required Written and verbal communication skills Required Customer service skills Required Organizational skills Required Critical thinking skills     Organization: 1105-ST ANTHONY'S HOSPITAL Primary Location: FL-St. Petersburg-St. Anthony’s Hospital Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Varies Shift: Days Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM M-F Weekend Work: None On Call: No Employment Status: ACTIVE FULL TIME Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
