Operates diagnostic fluoroscopy equipment, monitors patient vitals, performs routine calculations, and assists the physician upon request. Prepares the procedure rooms, equipment, and patient for the procedure. Also assumes responsibility for the transmission and the verification of transmission of digital angiography procedures on the network database.
Sign-On Bonus - $5,000 (some restrictions apply)
Required – High school diploma or equivalent
Required - 1 year radiology and angiography experience in order to become familiar with cardiovascular procedures
Required - Registered Radiologic Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist
Required - Current Louisiana and ARRT license
Required - Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
Required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association
Preferred - RCIS certification
