Vidant Medical Center is a 900+ bed Level-1 Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. As a central point of contract, they greet and assist all individuals who enter a Vidant Health facility, serve as a liaison between patients/families and members of the health care team, and work in partnership with all hospital departments to help ensure that everyone has an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities for COVID-19 screening will include:
Administer and read the temperature of individuals by utilizing approved devices according to manufacturer instructions and CDC guidelines. Screen individuals through the use of a health questionnaire and establish the screening lanes needed to maintain the 6ft social distancing guidelines between lanes and individuals waiting to be screened. Report cases of both positive and negative screening results according to established protocols while maintaining confidentiality.
