Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology and/or Ultrasound Technologist program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Active Maryland clinical license. Evidence of current BLS (or will obtain upon hire). Minimum of two (2) years of practice in a healthcare setting as Mammography Tech with Ultrasound knowledge.
Carries out mammography examinations (mammography & ultrasound) under the supervision of the Radiologist and/or Department Director. Responsible for maintaining quality care of all patients when in the department. Maintains competency in all procedures performed, such as;
-Ultrasound Core Biopsies
-Needle Localizations (mammography & ultrasound guided)
