High school education plus two years of an approved program of American Registry of Radiological Technologists and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Must be board certified or eligible. Additional ultrasonography training and registry would be preferred but not necessary. Prefer a minimum one year experience as a sonographer. Broad knowledge of all aspects of imaging, i.e., abdominal/pelvic, vascular, GYN. Carries out ultrasound examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director. Is responsible for maintaining quality care of patients.
