Job Description

    • Position Summary:
      • Provides professional spiritual care for assigned patients utilizing spiritual assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation according to professional standards, state regulation, and in keeping with the health center mission. Provides pastoral care education to hospital staff, clergy, college students, and local organizations.
    • Minimum Education
      • Master of Divinity, religious studies, or APC/NACC standards equivalency
      • One unit of CPE required; four units of CPE preferred
    • Minimum Experience
      • One year congregational experience preferred
      • One year of hospital chaplaincy preferred
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • Endorsement for chaplaincy by denomination or religious body
      • Board Certification preferred
