Job Description

IS Revenue Cycle Workflow Architect(Job Number: 205106) Description   The IS Revenue Cycle Workflow Architect is responsible for understanding revenue cycle, financial, and administrative applications requirements in an operational healthcare setting and translating those requirements to solve complex workflow problems. Understands key financial IS systems and the high level operations of those systems. The RCWA serves as a key resource working with team members in and out of IS, in hospital and physician settings, as well as vendors to ensure BayCare initiatives are thoroughly thought out and resolutions are attained. This includes leveraging capabilities of revenue cycle, financial, and administrative information systems to re-engineer workflow and drive transformation within a project. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, outstanding ability to work with others and within a team, strong understanding of revenue cycle, financial, and administrative workflows and processes, and a full understanding of the project life cycle. Preferred Skills: Cerner Powerchart and Cerner Charges  Experience required with appropriate Bachelor's degree includes at least 8 years combined including 2+ years IS Revenue Cycle and 2+ years Systems Implementation. Additional years of experience can include a combination of progressive growth in a physician practice and/or central business office, and/or revenue cycle education. Experience required with HS/GED includes at least 12 years combined including 2+ years IS Revenue Cycle and 2+ years Systems Implementation.
