The role of this position is to assist the Director of Pharmacy in the development, implementation, management, evaluation, and promotion of pharmaceutical services designed to provide timely, effective, cost-effective, and safe use of medications for patients. The Pharmacy Manager is a member of the Pharmacy leadership team. Plans, organizes, directs and operates the department, department goals, policies, and practices. Participates in the development and execution of the department
strategic and operational plans. Provides leadership and direction for all pharmaceutical care processes in the pharmacy. Develops systems of care, solves problems, and facilitates processes required to meet customer needs and achieve division objectives within budgetary targets. Additional responsibilities include, performance management of assigned staff, process quality measurement and improvement, and the upholding of practice standards and regulatory compliance within area of

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • 3 years management experience, preferred
  • Proficient with all programs in MS Office
  • Experience involving process improvement, preferred.
  • Pharmacy experience, preferred.
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D from accredited universities required.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, preferred.

Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
