About Vidant Transport
Vidant Medical Transport provides critical care air and ground service to areas within 150 miles of Greenville, North Carolina. We are based at Vidant Medical Center, home of the region's only Level-1 Trauma Center and Children's Hospital. Vidant Medical Transport is nationally recognized for safety, quality and service. We are fully accredited by CAMTS (the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems). Since 1985, Vidant Medical Transport has been committed to building relationships with our partners, patients and the communities we serve.

Vidant Medical Center serves as the flagship teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Health Nursing Professional Practice Model is Based on Dr. Kristen Swanson’s Theory of Caring, this model provides nurses at Vidant Medical Center principles for daily care of patients and interaction with team members.
