Vidant North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute bed facility where residents of Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in North Carolina and Mecklenburg, Brunswick and Greensville in Virginia receive a wide range of health services close to home. The Mammographic Technologist II is a member of the mammography staff of Radiology Services. The technologist must be proficient in performing screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localizations, and stereotactic mammography as applicable. The mammographic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (M) registered with current certification.
High school or equivalent (or higher)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Registered Radiologic Technologist in Mammography is required.
