Swedish is looking for an Infection Preventionist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) in Infection Prevention at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.
The Infection Preventionist 1 (IP1) is the entry-level position for Infection Prevention. A candidate for the IP1 position must have a sufficient healthcare background but requires only basic infection prevention/epidemiology knowledge, as the majority of training will occur on the job.
All Infection Preventionists (IPs) are accountable for implementation of and compliance with policies, practices, and processes of the infection prevention program at the region and system level. In collaboration with the IP program director, IP medical director, and IP peers, all IPs will follow all current local, state, and federal guidelines, standards, and regulations.
Infection Preventionists provide infection prevention consultative services focused on providing the higest quality care at the lowest cost to patient and organization.
