The Behavioral Health Therapist I is Master's prepared in the field of Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field. Responsible for meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as individual, group and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each individual patient. Conducts case management activities as well as discharge planning, and maintains appropriate documentation. The Therapist I provides appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions, services and is knowledgeable about community resources. Performs other duties as assigned. Required experience includes 2 years of Child and Adolescent (SIPP Only), 2 years of Clinical experience or 9 month internship.
