The Surgical Technician is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program; Or completion of a military Surgical Technologist Program; Or hospital based training program with 5 years acute care Surgical Tech experience
• Preferred: NBSTSA or NCCT.

With St. Joseph's Hospital, there are opportunities in Labor and Delivery, Cardiovascular and Main Operating Rooms in both Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center settings.
