2112367)The Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is a nurse or dietitian who has a minimum of 1000 hours of professional practice experience in diabetes self-management training, and has passed the Certification Examination for Diabetes Educators. The CDE will implement clinical and education programs, be responsible for quality improvement and research activates, and be an expert resource for both patients and providers. The CDE may also be responsible for the ADA Recognized Program process.
This position will support Diabetes Education at Winter Haven Hospital and Bartow Regional Medical Center.
