Summary:
Works under the supervision of the Manager of the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs. Assists with fluoroscopy, diagnostic angiographic and interventional procedures performed by the Cardiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients. Performs any combination of the following duties depending on area assigned.

Essential:
* Associate Degree

Other information:

Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program required. Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology preferred but not required.

Licensure / Certifications: RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required. RCIS, RCES and/or CVT preferred. BLS and ACLS certification required (May be completed within 90 days of initial hire date and maintained as current thereafter.)

Experience: Two years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist preferred.

Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
