Other information:
Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology, or chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training/experience in high complexity testing preferred. Will consider Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology with at least 5 years experience.
Experience: One year training in an accredited medical technology program or 5 years experience in a laboratory under the direction of a board certified pathologist.
Licensure/Certificate: Must have one of the following certifications: MT-HEW(5 years experience required), MT-ASCP or equivalent certification agency. MT-AMT, MLS (ASCP).Applicant may be eligible for certification but must obtain certification within time frame specified in employment offer. Note: Equivalent certification agencies may include military or state licensure if the employee is determined to meet the required education and related experience requirements as set forth in CLIA 88
