You can do all this and more at UCLA Health. Under direct supervision of the Director, MRI Operations and Medical Director, MRI and on a continuing and assigned basis. You will perform the basic and complex MR imaging procedures and may be assigned post-processing responsibilities. You will be the primary liaison between patients, radiologists and other members of the support team. You will be required to float/flex between various scanning locations staffed by the UCLA Department of Radiology, adhere to the on-call, holiday, weekend and weekly work schedules as prepared by the Lead Technologist or Director and participate in rotating shifts as required. You must maintain current CRT, ARRT and CPR certifications QualificationsCurrent CRT, ARRT and CPR Certification Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology, with the ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology. Understands the requirement of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act). Ability to identify and recognize contraindications for exams (Radiology Only) Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies.
